RN-Yuganskneftegas delivers a 17% footage increase in development drilling

Specialists of RN-Yuganskneftegaz, Rosneft's largest oil production asset, drilled more than 5.1 million meters of rock in the first nine months of 2023, which is 17% higher than in the same period of 2022. At the same time, 650,208 meters were drilled in October alone, which is the highest performance in the industry. 102 pads have been built, where new wells have been spudded.
The achievement of strong results was made possible by an 8% increase in drilling rig count compared to 2022, the use of high-performance equipment and advanced drilling technologies.
Development of technological potential is one of the key elements of Rosneft's Strategy. The Company places a priority on innovation activity and the use of breakthrough scientific approaches, defining technological leadership as a key factor of competitiveness in the oil market.
