80 Russian IT companies have taken part in Rosneft Pitch Day, an online exhibition of domestic IT solutions for digitalisation and automation experts.

More than 120 IT solutions were presented at the online exhibition that took place at Rosneft Oil Company.

In collaboration with domestic IT integrator IK Sibintek LLC, Rosneft plans to develop advanced IT solutions with an emphasis on import substitution.

It is the first time for Rosneft to hold an exhibition of such scale, and it is arranged as part of implementing the Russian government’s instructions on import substitution and prioritised use of Russian solutions.

The participants are granted access at the Company’s devices. Representatives of 72 subsidiaries within the Company studied new Russian IT solutions together with Rosneft’s main units.

Most of the solutions related to automation of exploration, production, drilling and field development; supply chains and logistics management; refining and petrochemicals; surveillance and monitoring systems; management of financial flows of an oil-and-gas enterprise; modelling and projection of financial results; preventive analysis of possible risks; use of the Industry 4.0 technologies, such as the internet of things, blockchain, the Big Data, machine learning, augmented reality for management and optimisation of processes in the oil-and-gas industry.
